We are delighted to invite you to a remarkable series of events this season at St Augustine’s Abbey, Chilworth, United Kingdom where contemplation meets creativity, wisdom and mystery. 1. Discover Indigenous Spirituality – A Special Study Morning with Sheila Longman

Date & Time: Saturday, 6 September 2025 • 10:00 – 12:00 (Assisi Room)

 Dive into the spiritual richness of Indigenous traditions. This morning brings a documentary on the Māori and includes reflections from Mr Jeremy Marks on Native American spiritual wisdom. 2. Chilworth Abbey Presents: The Mystery of God Series (Six Saturdays)

Dates: Starting Saturday, 13 September 2025 — monthly until 14 February 2026

 Based on Bishop Robert Barron’s acclaimed series, Benedictine monk Fr John Seddon OSB leads this intellectually and spiritually nourishing deep dive exploring belief, atheism, and the Christian understanding of God. 3. Mysteries of the Metaphysicals – A Poetry Evening

4. Public Talk: Spiritual Dimensions to the Aesthetic Response – Antonello da Messina’s The Virgin Annunciate

5. Public Talk: A.E. Housman – Scholar, Poet, Enigma

 Delve into the life and legacy of A.E. Housman through a blend of poetry, scholarship and expert insight followed by optional Divine Office of Compline with Gregorian Chant in the Abbey Church.
