St Augustine's Abbey, Sample Oak Lane, Chilworth, Guildford, Surrey GU4 8QR - a living Roman Catholic Benedictine monastery.

Sunday Holy Roman Catholic Mass is at 10am (coffee afterwards), daily Mass is at 9am. Members of the public are always welcome to join the monks at daily Mass and daily Divine Office. Mass is celebrated in the Ordinary Form (i.e. not a Latin Mass). Daily Vespers (6pm) and Compline at 8.30pm (with Holy Water blessing) are sung in ancient Latin Gregorian Chant as Benedictine monks have done for 1,500 years.

(Most people know the excellent Percy Arms Pub, Chilworth and the wonderfully convenient Chilworth Railway Station and its road crossing nearby: just head up Sample Oak Lane from here towards Blackheath for a quarter of a mile and the monastery is on the right hand side of the road with plenty of free parking).
