From Cloister to Calm: A Benedictine Gift for the Body and Soul
Now used by local wellness spa

In the quiet rhythm of our days at the Benedictine monastery of St Augustine’s Abbey, Chilworth near Guildford, the bees hum among the wildflowers of the Surrey Hills and their wax becomes a simple blessing shaped by our hands, offered in prayer and now shared through a gentle partnership with Natural Light Surrey Wellness Spa based at the Holiday Inn in Guildford: https://natural-light-surrey.com
Our monk made beeswax skin creams and lip balms, prepared in the Abbey workshop, are now being used in Natural Light’s restorative treatments and offered for sale in their spa. Each pot is the fruit of the Benedictine way - ora et labora, “pray and work” - combining natural purity with the quiet care born of monastic life.
We are grateful that these small creations, made in silence and peace, can help others find calm and renewal.
