A very special welcome to GUILDFORD u3a

22 April 2022

Group visits (pre-booked) are welcome

What a delight for us on 22 April (2022). We were really pleased to welcome over 20 members of the Guildford University of The Third Age (u3a) who visit religious places as part of their chosen activity.

The group asked lots of questions of Dom Andrew, who gave a talk to the visitors in our Grade II Listed Victorian Abbey Church. What it's like being a monk took top slot for the main area of questioning and many were interested to learn that the Abbey Church is open to the public daily 365 days a year for Mass and Divine Office. You are all welcome to visit again!

Group visits to St Augustine's Abbey, Chilworth are welcome (pre-booked) for a talk in the Abbey Church. Donations are welcome for this. Please get in touch via our website contact form.
