This icon is hung on a wall. It measures 18 cm X 12cm

We often think of God the Father, penalising His Son by allowing Him to die a cruel death; this icon teaches the reality that all three persons of the Blessed Trinity were involved in our salvation. The top reproduces the famous icon by Andre Rublev. The foot shows the crucifixion of Jesus, with The Virgin and St John praying. The cross beam shows Jesus with His Father in Glory on either side of the Holy Spirit, the Person expressing their mutual love, poured out on us.
